2016 NFL Mock Draft Top Ten Picks

retired We are two days away from the beginning of the 2016 NFL Draft, so we at Sportsrelocation.com thought it would be fun to chime in with our own 2016 NFL Mock Draft.  We are nowhere near expert level at this mock draft stuff, so we’ll confine our predictions to the top ten only.

Shall we?

  1. L.A. Rams pick Jared Goff, Quarterback, California.
  2. Philadelphia picks Carson Wentz, Quarterback, North Dakota State
  3. San Diego picks Jalen Ramsey, Free Safety, Florida State
  4. Dallas picks Laremy Tunsil, Offensive Tackle, Ole Miss
  5. Jacksonville picks Joey Bosa, Defensive End, Ohio State
  6. Baltimore picks DeForest Buckner, Defensive End, Oregon
  7. San Francisco picks Myles Jack, Outside Linebacker, UCLA
  8. Cleveland picks Jack Conklin, Offensive Tackle, Michigan State
  9. Tampa Bay picks Vernon Hargreaves III, Corner, Florida
  10. New York Giants pick Ezekial Elliott, Running Back, Ohio State

The first two picks are no-brainers.  The Rams desperately need a quarterback and Goff is the best of the lot and the most-ready to play this season.  The Eagles moved up in hopes of grabbing one of the top two quarterbacks, and Wentz is easily the second pick.

This NFL draft is extremely heavy in offensive and defensive linemen, so look for most of the remaining first round choices to be linemen.  Cleveland just might have the most to lose by going conservative and picking a lineman, but after the Manziel debacle they just might be looking forward to a more conservative approach as they rebuild from the ground up.

How about you?  Who do you think will be in the top ten of picks?  It all begins Thursday and ends Saturday, 253 picks as teams take the next giant step towards the regular season.
