Real Estate Sales Rise

Two related real estate stories appeared in the papers yesterday, and they speak of good news for those looking to relocate in the near future.

Chris Bosh, the nine-time All-Star with the Miami Heat, recently listed his Pacific Palisades home for sale at $14.5 million.  Bosh purchased the home in 2012 for $9.4 million, and prior to listing it for sale he offered the home as a rental at $45,000 per month.

The other piece of news was that real estate sales and prices rose in June to their highest mark since last October, further evidence that the real estate market is continuing to improve.

In other words, this is a great time for buyers and sellers of luxury real estate.

At Sportsrelocation.com, we are constantly in contact with professional athletes and entertainers, and they are always asking if the market will recover, and when is the right time to buy or sell.  These are complicated questions because so many factors control the real estate market, and when we are talking about celebrity real estate, we are talking about millions of dollars made or lost in a transaction.

Let us just say that there has not been a better time in the last five years to buy or sell a pro athlete home.  In the last month alone there has been, on average, one luxury property per day offered on the market.  The buy and sell activity has been almost frantic in its pace, and with this latest real estate news, there is no reason to think it will end anytime soon.

If you are facing athlete relocation in the next few months, now is the time to sit down with a real state and relocation expert and plan your move.  Sportsrelocation.com can handle it all for you, from the sale of your previous celebrity real estate to the purchase of your new home, and we do it quickly and efficiently because we have been in the pro athlete relocation business for over ten years.  We know the market….we know the athletes….and we work tirelessly for our customers.
