2015 NFL Trade Deadline Looms

As is often the case with the NFL Trade Deadline, there are more rumors than substance, but still, the deadline if 4:00 pm ET today and worth nothing.

Yesterday Vernon Davis was traded.  Who is next today? Who faces athlete relocation at the mid-point of the season?  Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte is rumored to be on the trade block, as is left tackle Joe Thomas and center Alex Mack of the Cleveland Browns.

The Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers are reportedly looking to unload some veterans, and the Baltimore Ravens seem to be dangling wide receiver Steve Smith to gauge the interest.  The Seattle Seahawks, fresh off their win over Dallas, is in dire need of offensive line help and may be interested n a mid-season trade for a center, guard or tackle.

We’ll just sit and watch as the final hours count down to the deadline.  Bubble teams looking for a second-half surge may well pull the trigger on a trade, and we could definitely seed a flurry of activity in these last few hours.
